Craig Sutherland – Head PGA Professional

Craig became Head Professional at Cherry Lodge in March 2007.
Prior to that time he was Assistant Professional at Hendon Golf Club. Whilst at Hendon he undertook his PGA training, turned Pro in 1998, becoming fully qualified in 2002.

He then spent some time playing on a full time basis and obtained sponsorship to do this, whilst still being attached to Hendon Golf Club. His playing career took him all round Europe and spanned from 2002-2006. He thoroughly enjoyed his time playing, however, his true passion has always been teaching and therefore decided that his
future was very much in club golf.

Cherry Lodge has excellent teaching and practice facilities, with the benefit of a full driving range and a short game area, Craig hopes to
be able to make more effective use of these facilities in the future.

Craig is extremely enthusiastic and thoroughly enjoys his role at
Cherry Lodge. He is a member of a number of committees and hopes that his involvement can help the club achieve its long term plans and ambitions more effectively.
